We spend every day running around all over the place, with countless appointments to remember and endless things to do at work and for our families. It’s hard to stay on top of everything and it’s never easy for women to find time for ourselves, but it’s something that we must do on 3 October because in San Vendemiano we’ll be racing for something very important: life.
After a break last year due to the pandemic, Corri in Rosa is back. Launched in 2014, it’s a chance for women to run for their fellow women. They all come together, wear pink and raise money for the fight against breast cancer. The event has come to epitomize willpower, friendship, love, determination and the urge to do something for others. Over the years, more than 38,000 women have taken part in the run. Their entry fees have been used to buy crucial medical equipment. The seventh event looks set to raise lots of money once again.
“We want to be there for women and help to pay the instalments for equipment that has an essential role to play in prevention. We’re playing a small part but when thousands of other people also do their bit, it can make a big difference in the fight against breast cancer. We also like to think that we’re setting an example for women of all ages because exercising on a daily basis helps people to improve and keep up their physical and mental well-being,” stated Cristina De Giusti of Manuel Caffè.
This is the spirit with which the De Giusti women will put on their official race tops and join the thousands of other participants. They will put their forward-thinking outlook, drive and solidarity into action, while their coffee culture will help to give a burst of energy to the entrants and enhance their performances on the two different routes: the runners can choose between 6.5 km and 13 km options, both of which are surrounded by the picturesque hills and vineyards of Conegliano.
Moving at high speed is in the DNA of the company, which has been racing towards the future for more than 40 years. It carries out regular tests and trials in order to ensure that it only uses the very finest crops, which are carefully selected and painstakingly processed, as special measures are taken to preserve their qualities and aromas.
We’ll see you all in San Vendemiano at 10.00 am on Sunday 3 October.
If you don’t want to run, you can walk with Manuel Caffè: a company where women are at the forefront. We’re supporting them in this important fight for life and embracing the magical marvels of peerless pink!
